Why I Trust You by Colette Davison
Coming in to this I really liked the other books in the series. Although this ine had a really good storyline, for me it just mark slightly.
Both men have their own issues, one quite a bit more serious than the other but as the hero of the story, I found Martin to be a little bit tame.
It wasn't that he was useless, I just wanted him to pack a bit more of a punch. The boy on the other end of the phone obviously needed saving and he had the resources to do it.
I just wanted more....
Having said that there was nothing wrong with the story or the writing, I just had high hopes after the last one. This is the trouble sometimes in a series of couples, you always get one that doesn't do it for you!
