Improper Fraction by V.L. Locey

This is a real old fashioned love story and it warms your heart.
Two friends from childhood who had hopes and dreams, one who knew he loved the other and one who wanted to but was scared.
Mal had always loved Garrison, he was his best friend and that one perfect night in their treehouse he thought he would get the future he had always dreamed of.
Garrison had kissed Mal finally, it was something he wanted to do but with the distance they now had between them, doubts about his future crept in. No one in his sport was openly gay and he was too afraid to even talk to Mal now for fear of hurting him.
Little did he know that his fear had turned in to hate for Mal, it was the only way he could cope with the utter feeling of rejection he had been living with.
When the two men meet again for the first time in years, will Mal be able to stay away? Will Garrison get a chance to explain?
Only time and one perfect summer at camp will decide their future, is it going to be one they get to spend together?
I really liked the way this author wrote their story and am looking forward to whatever gets released next.
4.5 out of 5 stars.
