Holding On by Sarah Hadley Brook
This is a beautiful story about two young men who just want to be loved.
Aaron has had a hard life and is in love with his straight best friend. When things at home go from bad to worse it's Jeff that is his shoulder to cry on.
Jeff is dealing with his own isssues and wants so badly to tell Aaron that he loves him but it just isn't the right time.
A well written, heart warming book that made me feel for both men, their situation and the desperate need they had for each other.
I can't even begin to imagine the horror of what happens but the way the author describes it makes you feel like you are a part of their story and for me that's the sign of a good book.
