Christian was just doing his job, he never expected it to lead him to the love of his life......
His early life had been a hard one so when a business man offered Christian a job, it was something he couldn't refuse.
Years later he felt like part of the family, Bobby and his wife had taken him in and treated him like another son.
When Bobby decides to go away with his wife after a shooting he asks Christian for a favour.
He is the only one he will trust with looking after his real son but to do this he has to go undercover as Duncan will never accept a bodyguard.
The boy seems to be getting in to trouble and has a reputation as a bit of a player.
Christian needs to pretend to be interested in him, make him fall for him and basically keep him on the straight and narrow.
The trouble is Christian has never been interested in anyone, male or female so this could cause a problem.
Little did he know that once he found the right person, he would most definitely be interested.
When things develop between the 2 men, Christian tries to keep it as innocent as possible so that Duncan doesn't end up getting his heart broken, after all it's only a 6 month assignment.
The trouble is that sometimes even the best laid plans end up with someone getting hurt.....
This book was one that I couldn't put down. I was so invested in the story I needed to find out what happened before I could go to sleep.
Very well written and there wasn't a character that I didn't like.
